Word Meanings

Words and their meanings are so deceptive

POEMS

What I say and what you feel,

Are two entirely different things.

Words are limitations of our speech,

One's a reality other's a dream.

Words do make and words destroy,

Powerful are words that make you cry.

Are words communication or our imagination,

Meanings aplenty open interpretation.

Is communication the only solution,

Or is it merely your personal delusion.

Words are objective but meanings subjective,

Hateful words are always offensive.

Contemplating under conscious reflection,

Words are chaos of our imperfections.

Colored in prejudices and our bias,

Feelings are captured in emotional vials.

There are words forever eternal,

Sustaining life that is ephemeral.

The words of love from a mothers lips,

Inspiring humanity giving bliss.

Words of kindness words of peace,

Unintelligible words of little kids.

Chirping Words of singing birds.

Whistling words of winter winds.

Gurgling words of rushing springs.

Tinkling words of twinkling dew.

Kissing lips of flowers few.

Remember all the words of God,

"Open your heart and hear it all,

I'm here and you'll not fall."
